Assuming that the property was your father-in-law's self acquired property and has died without writing a Will, then your mother-in-law, his daughter and son will have equal share in the property,

Hi,

The self acquired property will be divided equally among the wife ,son and daughter as they are the three legal heirs as he died intestate(without making a will) ,

If he was the owner of this property and has not left behind any will then property belongs equally to his widow and children.
