No. You cannot, as that would be violative of fundamental right of privacy.

You can file a case for annulment or divorce, wherein the court can summon such documents, if required for the fair adjudication of the case.

Dear Sir,

As per the latest direction of Hon'ble Supreme court a detailed affidavit has to be filed by parties to matrimonial litigation.

You can consult so that I can give you the details of citation and that would suffice for your worry about maintenance. Also strict penal action is mandated for party submitting false affidavit.

You should have confirmed it before marrige.

Tell her show her ITR or try to obtain her ITR through RTi act.

Hello,

  1. You cannot call your wife's employer and get the details of salary, resignation status, appointment letter, work from home status, post for two reasons firstly the information is strictly official and arising out of contractual obligations between the employer and your wife  and secondly the company can part with such information only  if required by a government agency or by a court order.
  2. If you think she lied to you regarding her employment, you must ask her to provide you with the right information.

Hello,

1. Unfortunately, there is no legal way to compel her to provide you the information as she is not legally bound to provide you those details. It is a matter of trust and as such must be dealt with in that manner.

2. You must deal with the situation  tactfully to get the information.

Hello,

  1. Since she says that the company has now terminated her, you must ask her to get her relieving letter and full and final settlement including the Form 16 for the financial year.
  2. Tell her that you will need the documents to help her find another employment. The form 16 and the relieving letter will help find details of her salary.

Your wife's employer is not a subordinate person to you neither your servant that you can dictate  him to furnish the details of your wife's employment.

You can approach court with an application seeking direction to the employer to furnish the desired details in the pending matrimonial dispute case.

You have to collect the details of her employment through your own sources. Law cannot provide you the detail you would desire.

You produce the evidence before court obtained by whatever source and prove your case.

If you insist on her employment details and salary income, she may even give a dowry harassment details against you which will attract criminal action against you and you may also be punished if the offence is proved.

You cannot force her to disclose the details specially if she is unwilling.

If there is any dispute pending in court of law with regard to maintenance or any other matrimonial issues, then you can file an application before the concerned court seeking direction to her employer to furnish the desired details to conduct and prove your case

Every time and everything is not legal between the relationship of husband and wife.

The employer of your wife may give details but create suspicious behavior of your's towards your wife which may create a problem for her at the end of her employer.

Please find out her complete details of Company and address. Please try to be a good with HR department of your wife who may help you to furnish the details as per your convenient and choice otherwise legally not allowed.

Is your marriage happened due to her employment and earnings?

Do you have contract in writing expressly entered into between you and your wife ?

If answer is yes then you may take a help of Court for breach of Contract and demand details of Contract whether she has or doesn't?

This is only legal way to ask her through Court order under breach of Contract.

Lets take that she lied.

Now there are two options

If you want to continue the marriage than forget everything and try living happily with her.

If you want to discontinue your marriage on basis that she lied about her job than file for annulment of marriage on basis of concealment of facts.

And if you only want to know her job status. Than file a RTI on her so called employer and ask for the list of employees they have.

Dear sir,

Unless the matter reaches court, there is no way you can ask her or her employer about her job details "legally".

You can hire services of private detectives if you wish to.

If you call or contact the employer, they might tell you a few details. But most likely they will refuse, as they are legally bound not to divulge such confidential information regarding salary, employment contract etc.

This is a very weird situation. You have just married and such problems have cropped up! Anyways ask her parents and other friend circle. Moreover if that is not helpful then ask the employer whether she was in fact employed. If she was getting 9 lakhs that is a very good amount and she must be in a good position.

1. Nothing prevents you from calling her employer unless there is an order of injunction against you in force, but the employer will be a fool to share the details over a call.

2. If the matrimonial dispute goes to court and you know where she works then you may apply to the court to direct her employer to produce her entire employment details in the court.

Dear Sir,

The direct calling or approaching the employer for details may be dangerous for relationship and hence you may opt for the help from some friend or better use the services of some detectives.
