No the fees for rectification is negligible as the said error is clerical
I had purchased a plot of land Measuring 10 Cottah (7200 sft. approx.) in Durgapur, West Bengal. However by mistake the Khatian No. was by mistake mentioned as 3265 instead of 3256 in the Deed of Registration. Now for Rectification of the same, do I need to pay Stamp Duty? If yes, how much or what do I have to pay for the Rectification Deed.

1. IF you have paid full stamp duty on the rate'ble value of the Property and registered the original Sale Deed, THEN for "Rectification Deed", the stamp duty would be 500/- and registration fees would be 1000/-, PROVIDED there is no monetary consideration changes in the rectification deed.
