yes you and your mother can claim share in the grandfather property. that can be effectively done by filling a suit claiming partition and demanding the share in the property.

any property papers can be obtained from the concerned area tehsildar. if the property is now in pakistan, then it is not possible to claim share.

Hi

It would be difficult to get the record of partition time.

For your maternal side property it is necessary that the property share of your mother be transferred to her name.

You are not directly eligible to get the property to your name. Your mother can claim the property share from her native home and then that can be transferred to your name by your moter.

Thank You

1. The property of your maternal grandfather is not ancestral in your hands. On the demise of your mother's father his property devolved through succession on his widow and all children including your mother equally if he died intestate i.e without making a will.

2. Your mother can cull out her share in the property of her father by filing a suit for partition in the civil court. However, you have no share in the property of your maternal grandfather during the lifetime of your mother.

My mother is a widow. Am only girl child.look for that case or separate law

There is no separate law for each and every circumstance, law is common under all the circumstances and for all.

Please look for that case also weather she can also file in her dada or paternal grandfather's property

She can claim her share in her father's property if he is reported to have died intestate or if he has acquired ancestral property
