No, they are not in the degree of prohibited relationship as per the first schedule,part-2 under sec2(b) of Special Marriage Act, 1954.
The marriage is legally valid.

If you found that this relationship finds a place in the list of prohibited relationship, you have to take a note of it and should take careful steps on it.
