Sir,I have purchased a used truck from a person..after taking money he changed hypothication from his finance to my finance..and registration also changed on my name with hypothication of my financier...now after 4 months it is learnt that he changed hypothication with forged documents..not only me...6 more cases booked against him......what shall I do now

You can file police complaint against the fraudster for cheating , criminal breach of trust , fabrication of documents
2) also file civil suit against fraudster to recover your money with interest
You write and give a complaint to the police station, sections will be framed by them and not. You just have to write your grievance in a blank paper and give it to the police station.

1) You can certainly file a cheating case against the fraudster. Get an FIR lodged against him immediately in the nearest police station. The police has to then file the charge sheet in the concerned court and the fraudster will be tried and convicted.
2) He can be booked under sections 406 ,420 and 463 IPC . You do not need to quote the section or know about the provisions to file an FIR. It is the duty of police to frame charges under appropriate sections.
1. Go to the nearest police station to file a FIR for cheating, criminal breach of trust and forgery under Sections 406, 420 and 467, 468 and 471 IPC.
2. Also file a civil suit for recovery of money paid to him with compensation.

You can lodge a criminal complaint against the seller for the offences of cheating and breach of trust.
You can file a money recovery suit also against the seller if you documentary evidence to prove the money transaction between you two.
