1. A person on his death leave his proeprty to inheritance to his first class legal heirs only in whose absence second calls heri inherit his proeprty.

2.in your case on his death his son/s, daughter/s, mother, widow will inherit his proeprty in equal shares.

3. So the number of legal heirs left by him would determine the percentage of proeprty inherited by him.

One of the answers, mentions that my grand mother(father's mother) is also an heir. Could this be confirmed please? She was alive at the time of his death, but expired in 2013.

If your grandmother is not alive then she may not considered to be included in the legal heirship certificate after her death.

However if she has died before your father, then she is not entitled to any share in the property.
