Dear Querist

There is no criminal offence committed by transgender but it is only a civil dispute and you can claim your money back after sending notice and if not paid then file civil suit for recovery.

1. If you has given the money on ger promise to return the same then you are entitled to get refund now.

. if she does not return the same on repeated askings then the action amounts to cheating.

For commission of cheating you can inform the police on which basis the FIR can be registered.

There is no separate criminal law for the transgender.

Your transaction is purely based on money .So send a legal notice to her for return of money. If you have any valid evidence for transaction between she and you then it will help you for getting the money if you lodged a case.

Do you have any agreement for having given this amount?

If you were in relationship then the transgender may consider it as a gift, so you have to prove that this money was given to her as hand loan for the purpose of her operation.

However you may issue a legal demand notice demanding the money to it, and await reply for further action.
