Hi
Section 506 of IPC is non-bailable and Cognizable in both the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana vide G.O 732 Home (Court B), Dated 5-12-1991,
Also the offence under Section 506 of IPC is compoundable vide section 320 of Cr.P.C
Also the courts in andhra pradesh and telangana vide have been favouring compounding in case the person is charged with 506 IPC.
So in all likelihood, if you are facing any criminal charges for the first time, you can request the court
a) That you will demonstrate a good conduct and character henceforth and
b) that the court may levy you a fine in lieu of imprisonment and discharge you from your case.
Courts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will definitely entertain the petition to compound (payment of fine in lieu of imprisonment) and discharge you from your case.
Hope this information is useful.

section 506 is compoundable offence so if you plead your guilt you cannot be prosecuted. you should settle this case with complainant out of the court by way of compromise.
