Hello,
We purchased some products from an Indian company last year. The products are faulty. Supplier doesn't reply to our emails anymore.
Is there anything we can do?

Yes. Get issued legal notice to company and also dealer asking for replacement or to remove faulty of product if warranty is there. You can also file consumer complaint.

Hello,

  1. Since the company is refusing to reply to your emails and take any remedial steps, you can get a legal Notice issued to the company seeking either replacement of the defective products or a refund of the amount paid.
  2. If the legal notice is not responded to you can sue the company or approach the consumer forum in India for replacement of products/refund and compensation.
  3. You may contact through this website for further assistance in case you wish to initiate legal action.

Dear Ma'am/ Sir,

Please send a legal notice to their address stating the deficiencies in their services and also state, if the deficiencies are not rectified you will initiate consumer complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

It is a clear case of deficiency in service and unfair trade practice.

You being a consumer your rights for replacement and compensation are protected under consumer protection act.

As there's no response from the company for the steps initiated by your side in this regard, you may approach consumer distress redressal commission of the supplier jurisdiction and proceed legally against him for relief and remedy.

If you are using the products for your personal purpose then you can file suit in consumer court in India. If it is for trading purpose then you have to file commercial suit in India for recovery of money/replacement of good product and damages

- You can send notice /legal notice to the said company for the refund of the amount or to replace that item

- Further, if no response then file a complaint before the Consumer forum with the help of any relative who is living in India , and thereby claim compensation as well for the harassment.

Dear Client,

Sure, here is the rewritten version:

If a company refuses to reply to your emails and take any steps to remedy a problem with its products, you can send them a legal notice. This notice should state your complaint and demand that the company either replace the defective products or refund your money. If the company does not respond to the legal notice, you can sue them in court or file a complaint with the consumer forum in India.

Here are the specific steps you can take:

  1. The legal notice should be sent by registered mail and should include the following information:

    • Your name and contact information
    • The company's name and contact information
    • A description of the problem you have experienced
    • Your demand for either a replacement of the defective products or a refund of your money
    • A deadline for the company to respond to your notice

  2. If the company does not respond to the legal notice within the deadline, you can take them to court or file a complaint with the consumer forum in India.

The consumer forum is a government agency that can help you resolve disputes with businesses. If you file a complaint with the consumer forum, they will investigate your case and may order the company to provide you with a replacement of the defective products, a refund of your money, or other compensation.
