Have you received the noitce ? Even if you not able appear through any mode, no adverse order may pass. So don't bother much.

Courts are partially working due to covid.

If you have not engaged any lawyer in Mumbai then how did you appear before the court on earlier hearings?

If this is first appearance, then you can send a letter to the family court directly  expressing your inability to appear before the court due to current covid situation.

The court will not insist on your appearance and it may adjourn the case automatically.

You can avail  video conferencing only through an advocate who will arrange for this facility between court and you.

You cannot find any link for video conference.

For having virtual hearing or video conference you have to engage the services of an advocate in Mumbai practicing in Bandra family court.

He or she would arrange for this facility by talking to the judge about it and that too it can be arranged only during the next date of hearing only

If the petition is filed by your wife then she or her lawyer has to provide you the VC link

Ask her to provide

The link can be accessed by the party who has filed the proceeding and can be shared by that party with his or her opponent

Dear Sir/Madam,

You are suggested that in the website of the District court, the links for VC of various judges are given and you may use that for your case.

1. You cannot directly click on link and appear for video conferencing in court.

2. An application for appearance through video conferencing need to be made before court and if court allows your application then your advocate or representative will get link and timing for video conferencing.

Due to covid  / carona  pandemic case hearing is automatically adjourned by one month.  Mean while, contact local advocate of Mumbai and proceed.

Courts are allowing VC for only urgent cases.

Web link will be shared only by the concerned court to the identified cases / parties.

You need not worry, since the same is appearance stage.  You make a written representation to the concerned court asking for web link and your interest to appear through VC.

The  same may be sent to the concerned court by Regd. Post with Ack. Due and also through E-mail.
