Remarriage of the pensioner disentitle him from getting pension on account of death of the spouse unless service regulations which is most unlikely provides otherwise.

So decide accordingly.

You should receive family pension after remarriage

The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has said the widow of a deceased government servant is eligible for family pension even after remarriage. ... She was also granted family pension in accordance to Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 and other retiral benefits were offered.

it would also apply to widower remarriages

If your appointment is on substantive vacancy and your second marriage be Registered, then the problem may be faced by you because someone can inform your employer as well as your deceased wife's employer.

But if there is no record of second marriage and your appointment is not on substantive post, you must enjoy the pension.

You think that by twisting your question you are placing a different question.

But it is the same question.

You can continue to draw family pension pertaining to the pension of your deceased wife even after marrying another woman.

There are no restrictions for that.

Dear sir,

No, you'll not receive the pension after second marriage.

If you have a dependent (son upto 25 years or unmarried daughter), you can receive the family pension as their guardian.

- The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has said that the widow of a deceased government servant is eligible for family pension even after remarriage.

- Hence, similarly , as you are getting the pension after the death of your wife , then even if you will re-marry , then also the pension will be continued legally.
