- In Maharashtra , for an asset/property valued between Rs 1,001 and Rs 50, 000, it is 2 per cent

Further, for Rs 50,001 to Rs 2lakh it is 4 per cent, and between 2 lakh and Rs3 lakh it is 6 per cent and above Rs3 lakh it is 7.5 per cent with a maximum ceiling of Rs 75,000

- In Telengana , it is maximum maximum of Rs.3 lakhs , depend on the property value . 

- If there is no objection from any legal heirs , then it may take maximum 2 to 6 months .

For a Certificate under the Indian Succession Act, 1925-
Where the amount or value of the debt or security or the aggregate amount or value of the debts and securities specified in the certificate- 


(i) does not exceed five thousand rupees. is two percent of such amount or value;

(ii) exceeds five thousand rupees, but does not exceed

twenty five thousand rupees  is three percent of the amount or value

(iii) Exceeds 25 thousand but not exceeds 50000; four percent;

 

(iv) exceeds fifty thousand rupees, but does not exceed one
lakh rupees  is five percent;

(v) exceeds one lakh rupees ..:  six percent.
