Marital status can be changed. There is no ise deleting as the damage has already been done. You can explain this by saying that it was an honest mistake but i doubt the court will believe that.

Anyways it is serious as you are giving false information about yourself and hence the court will take this into consideration while deciding your case.

The wife cannot make an y complaint for cheating or fraud, because he has not cheated her, let she lodge any complaint, it will not be entertained.

Unless you defraud someone police can not take any action. Nobody can file complaint against you. 

1. The separated wife has no locus to file the complainant as she has not been a victim of the purported false information uploaded online.

2. The locus to file the complaint ensues to only a woman who on the basis of information so uploaded contacts the man for matrimonial alliance.

Don't worry about this. No one is in any loss due to information given by you. It not serious matter. If you get married by giving false information that makes a fraud. 

1. IT is no offence of Cheating or Fraud, atleast at the hands of Wife, more so since there is no motive /intention to cheat/fraud Wife.  However, it would amount to Cheating, Fraud, Breach of Trust etc.... at the hands of the new prospective bride.

No fraud and cheating committed on her. Still change the marital status.

- The false information given on the matrimonial site can created a problem from the intending /inviting woman for marriage , and not from the existing wife. 

- Further , you can delete/edit your profile in the matrimonial site , and hence no breach of trust etc has committed by you. 

- Women Cell  is not having any judicial power like court , and hence if the counselling will be finalized in CWC , then both parties will have to approach the Family court for mutual divorce etc. 

there is no need to worry, simply delete Or edit your profile. 

It was a minor fault and cannot be said to be punishable if no meeting was held with any girl.

And husband cannot be punished just for selecting wrong category under section for cheating and fraud.
