• 50 years proof not available for caste validity certificate(SC)

Hi All,

My sisters son required caste validity certificate. He have Own caste certificate, Parents caste certificates but we don't have 50 years caste certificate proof. Because his Grandfather not went to school and Grandfather is a single child. but grandfather have cousin brother have school leaving certificates on which mention caste(can we attached this documents?) and by the way I have my own caste validity certificates(can I attached this?). Please help.

 Documents Required for Caste Certificate:

  1. Identity Proof. Aadhaar Card. Driving License. Voter ID. ...
  2. Address Proof. Aadhaar Card. Voter ID. Driving License. ...
  3. Affidavit for Caste Certificate. Proof of Caste of Self or Blood Relative. Extract of Primary School Register of applicant or father or grandfather.
  4. Extract of birth register of the applicant/father/or relatives
  5. An extract of Government Service Record (book) mentioning caste/community category of applicant’s father or relative
  6. Document certifying caste issued by department of social justice
  7. Validity Certificate if any of father or relative which is issued by scrutiny committee
  8. Copy of revenue records or village panchayat record
  9. Documentary evidence in regard to the caste and ordinary place of residence prior to the date of notification of the caste
  10. Other relevant documentary evidence issued by competent authority

SLC of your cousin brother has no value, he has to go for Caste Certificate to be issued by the Competent Authority but you can attach your's because that has valid sanctity.

In order to have caste validity certificate you need to have below mentioned documents and / or the details sought by concerned at the place (differs from state to state).

List is:

1) Birth Certificate of the Child.

2) Caste certificate of parents issued by concerned MRO / GP

3) Community Certificate issued by the Concerned Community head. 

4) Caster certificate of the parents, grand parents also

5) Yes you can your grandpa's cousin's certificate (if he is sagotra)

6) The documents / information as desired by the concerned officer.

Child caste will adopt of his father. Caste Certificate granted to close blood relative, It Can Be Granted To Other Blood Relations From Paternal Side.

Use cousin brother certificate.
