• Change in mother's name in SSC marks list

Sir/mam, one of my student completed SSC in 2019 ,in SSC hall ticket there is spelling mistake. Her name in SSCbhall ticket and our school records is kasirathnam. But in all other documents like Aadhar, date of birth certificate of the student it is Kasirathnamma. Now still original mark list was not issued by the SSC board in Andhra Pradesh. Can we correct it before issue of original marks memo. Because student has to apply passport where the problem arises. Please give solution sir.

Hello,

Yes an application can be given by the student to the board with an affidavit.

The same has to be endorsed by the head of the institution also and also the institution will have to give one NOC for the same.

Bank cannot resort to illegal and arbitrary methods to recover the money. They can do the recovery for the unpaid loan amount plus interest, while staying in the limits of law.

Service of legal notice to husband is illegal as he has nothing to do with the loan.

Also, you can consider filing a complaint against bank manager to the anti corruption bureau or banking ombudsman, if you have evidence to prove that he was asking for a bribe to settle your matter

Yes, immediately approach the SSC with a representation in the present matter so that wen the marksheet Is issues, the same reflects the correct and actual name of the candidate.  Mark a copy of this representation to the concerned school as well. If nothing helps, file a writ a writ and seek directions.

-  Yes, you can change/correct the spelling mistake any time.

-  If, the mothers name in the school Admission register is correctly spelled , then take a Letter from the head of his school and also collect photo copy of the entry in the school regiser.

- Submit the same with an Affidavit to the SSC Board as earliest as possible to get the Origonal Mark Memo with the correctly spelled name.

I would suggest you, Most probably, you have to write to the ssc board and send a letter to them for correction along with the documented proof. Your school authorities will be able to guide you in a better way in this regard.

If the mistake is due to some type error from your side, then you can always rectify the error by correcting the name.

Before that ascertain the facts and then proceed so that your act should not become another mistake which may again bring problems to the student.

Dear client

You should send the correction application to the board for correction of mother name with your IDs to change the spelling of mother's name. Most probably they will change the name on your application.

But If they refuse to change the name then you ask them for reason for not correcting the name.

If still they didn't process you application and reject it then you can file petition for issuing  mandatory injunction to board in the court having jurisdiction to order the board to correct the spelling of mother's name in marksheet.

  1. As per the information mentioned in the present query, makes it clear that you have righty chosen the time for getting it changed.
  2. Though it can be changed by end of the next year also, but now for sure you can get changed.
  3. You will have to approach the Hon’ble High Court under Mandamus Writ Jurisdiction of Article 226 of our Constitution seeking direction to get the name changed in the final mark sheet.
