See if there is error in printing the driving license then an application has to be filed before concerned DTO along with the birth certificate and old driving license to rectify the error. It will done in day or two you will get your license rectified.

Further the more practical fast way is on DTO office there are agent who under take the work engage an agent he will charge you 500-1000 and he will get it done on same day.

You have to apply to RTO for rectification of your date  of birth in driving licence

2) enclose Aadhar cord copy or other documents which reflect actual date of birth

1)Visit RTO office and make application for correction of year of birth in driving licence .Attach xerox of Birth certificate to application which reflects your correct date and year of birth.

2)Other way of getting it done is through middlemen. It might cost a little more than the usual but most of the times the work gets done without you having to roam around places/departments.

3)If the application is rejected then you may move to court which can order RTO to rectify the error.

you have to approach the issuing authority of your licence to get it corrected there is nothing like quick solution to the problem. The typo mistake correction leads to a new licence.

How did this error take place, was it due to your fault or a official mistake by the authorities?

You can get it rectified if it was mistake of office or you may have to follow the procedures for rectification of error as per rules by complying with the necessary formalities, the details of which will be available in the RTO office.

Dear Sir,

The following information may kindly be read.

Procedures vary from state to state. Generally the procedure is to visit the nearest RTO & submit an application with the required documents (usually it'll be your 10th or 12th std marks sheet/Aadhaar Card/Passport/etc) stating your request to the concerned department & follow-up. This is possible if you stay in Haryana & if your DL is of the same state or else other state RTO's might ask you to visit RTO where the DL was issued. Other way of getting it done is through middlemen. It might cost a little more than the usual but most of the times the work gets done without you having to roam around places/departments. But most of these middlemen won't be able to help if it's a inter-state case. Hope this helps..

1. Do you require your Indian Driving License to be produced while applying for the Driving License in New Zeeland? If not then apply for the same submitting your passport to prove about your date of birth.

2. If the Indian Driving License is mandatorily required to be submitted then send an application to your RTO at India from NZ asking for correcting the eror mentioned in your driving license issue to you in India.

3. You can send the above application to any of your known person in India giving him the authority letter to deal with your said matter and collect the fresh license after the DOB is corrected.

hello

an application has to be given in the RTO office. check the website as these correction applications can be given and processed online. in case it is not possible, then any trusted person can do this on your behalf. also if they want you present here, then give a SPA to any close relative/friend of yours and he will do the needful.

With the genuine and correct date of birth certificate which ever it may be you present an application to the concerned RTO Office they will change it but if it does not match then it will be called issued on fake ID.
