• Graduation marksheet

Sir I completed my graduation in 2017. I got the marksheet from college and then went for a private job. Then in December 2017 college announced that there is a mistake in the name and credit of a subject in the marksheet and we all are required to take fresh corrected marksheet.
I got the corrected marksheet in June 2018.
The printing date on the marksheet is 18 Jun 2018.
Everything other than this is all right. I also have the degree certificate mentioning I passed in 2017
Next month I am going to appear for an interview in a government job through UPPSC.
I want to know that will that marksheet printing date of 2018 will create any problem??
If they will ask why I took my marksheet in 2018 what answer will I give??
Please suggest if I need to do anything extra for that or is it okay
I have a xerox copy of the previous marksheet also.

1. No, it will not create any difficulty since it was issued by the University itself and hardly anyone notice the date of printing.

2. However to remove any chance of confusion make an application to your college so you get an written information that this certificate was subsequently issued to correct the mistake occurred previously.

3. if the college refuses to give such written communication, you can send RTI application seeking this information from the University. You will get result.

The corrected marksheet had to be issued due to the mistake of the college, so it relates back to the date of issuance of the original marksheet. There should be no problem. Nothing else is required to be done.

No the marksheet printing date will not create any problem as date of passing and result is mentioned as 2017 only. You should state truth before the authorities that there was a mistake on part of university and they recalled marksheet and gave a fresh one.

You don't have to do anything extra just keep the Xerox of previous marksheet with you.

  1. As per the information mentioned in the present query, makes it clear that you have been issued a new marksheeet stating the date of 2018.
  2. Firstly, try to save that request of the department which stated to be change in the some credentials.
  3. Secondly, go to the concerned college administrative department for getting the photocopy of the previous marksheet stamped by them.
  4. Once you are done with the following requirements, then you may not have any problem at the time of interview.

1) Printing marksheet date is different thing and at top of mark sheet its mentioned EXAM held in Mar/April 2017 that is different thing.

2) You can explain to employer that what mistake happened by University and its not your fault. Don't show marksheet directly produce certificate. How you explain and convince to other party its totally your skill, actually it should not be any problem for getting the job.

This should not create a problem. At any time they point out the printing date of the marksheet, you may explain to them that all of you were mandated to collect a corrected copy of the marksheet.

If there's still a problem, furnish your explanation under an affidavit.

Don't submit previous mark-sheet any where and submit only corrected mark sheet, the answer when to give is that this has been done by the university on his own and you are nothing to do with this.

Dear Sir

It is okay. No problem will arise since you have Xerox copy of previous marks card. Just relax. Never see the problem with convex lense.

You can always give the actual reason for what you had been issued wityh this marksheet and also produce the photo copy of the previous marksheet to support your statement.

It is not your fault hence you need not worry about it and also if necessary you can give an affidavit to establish the same on oath duly notarised by a notary public.
