• Aadhar card not having property address

We have constructed a three floor house in gurgaon. The property is in the name of my father, mother, brother and me. Now we need to divide the property such as first floor should be alloted to me. Second floor should be alloted to my brother and third floor should be alloted to my father, mother, brother and me. For that we need to apply for family settlement deed. My voter Id card and passport has the property address but aadhar card doesn't have property address. is it compulsory that my aadhar card should have the property address? or will it do without the property address since my voter id card and passport has the property address.

No it is not compulsory that adhar has the property address person can have multiple properties the address on adhar is just proof of residence.

It will do even if address not on voter ID card passport then also you can register the deed but since it is there won't be any issue.

Don't worry, any one of your address proof is fair enough to register the settlement deed. It is needless that the address proof and the property in issue to be in the same address.

It will do without the address.

However, if you want you may apply for the change in address in aadhaar online on the basis of the passport and voter ID.

The court might ask for aadhaar also, so it is better that you get the same corrected beforehand.

Hi,

The said settlement can be done even without the said address on aadhar card. However, if you wish to update address on aadhar card, the same can be done in 15 days from authorised centres.

1. Typically ONLY the PAN card is sufficient for Registration of a Family Settlement Deed. There is no necessity for any other documents.

1. There is no such law which says that for a property to be divided the adhaar card must have the property address.

2. You can execute the settlement deed on the strength of the other identity and residence documents such as PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voted Card, etc.

It is not necessary that the aadhar id care should have the same address, you can proceed without that also.

To apply for family settlement dead, do I need to have address of property on my aadhar card. or it is not required since my voter id card and passport has address of property

For any registered document in respect of the immovable property, a valid address proof should be produced, it is not necessary that it should tally with other proofs.
