With high rate of pendency in the courts with regard to property disputes that result from inaccurate paper records and flawed registration ways in India, how much does filing a case with SDM in an area cost the concerned party ? More than the time that it consumes, I am sure it must have quite a few economic implications as well. As I am a Delhi resident, an approximate figure from cases of authorized colonies and its legal disputes and the related cost of fighting a case would help solve my query. 1. The cost of court fees and advocate fees differ in every state and cities and hence no proper costs can be estimated.
2. Every advocate has his own fees structure and hence no accurate figures can be quoted.
3. However a total fees of 25-30k is reasonable.

Generally the court fees are standard. The only difference is the lawyer fee you encounter. It depends on lawyer to lawyer.
No approximate figure can be given until and unless the entire case is discussed as each and every case has different facts and hence time taken for disposal of the case varies from case to case.
