Change of DOB in school certificates is not so easy and it is to be done within a certain time period for the date of leaving the school.

In your case it is not certain when you left the school.

If the is more than 5-6 years ago then the school certificates can not mre be changed.

However this can be countered by making an affidavit beofre the Magistrate and then making a paper publication.

Once the affidavit is done you can refer or mention the new DOB in future formalities.

1)you have to apply to school board for change of date of birth in school leaving certificate

2) if they refuse file writ petition in HC to direct board to change date of birth in school certificate

3) then apply for change of date of birth in aadhar card , voter id card, pan card with the authorities

Hello,

The school documents can now not be changed.

There is specific instruction that if there is no clerical error and the DOB is same as that in the school records then the same can not be changed. if however, you are adamant to get the same changed you will have to prefer a writ before the HC for specific directions.

It is also not advised to get the DOB changed in other documents, the same might bring legal complications in future.

however, you may visit the sites of the departments (aadhar card, voter id card, and pan card) to get the DOB changed. But the difference in DOB in educational certificates and other documents will always be a problem.

Firstly, make one affidavit specifying all the details.

Secondly, publish in a local newspaper and then wait for 30 days.

Thirdly and lastly, apply to each department with copy of the affidavit and of the birth certicate.

Would take some time but you will get what you want.

Rest contact if any difficulty.

Get your DOB changed on all your documents, on the basis of your birth certificate, which reflects your correct DOB.

You might have to approach the Court and seek a direction for correction of DOB on your school leaving certificate. This is in case a period of more than 2 years has already elapsed since the said certificate was issued.

DOB in PAN and Aadhar can be updated online.

You cannot get the date of birth changed in all the said documents what you have mentioned by any means.

You can get your correct date of birth declared by a court order after filing a case to declare your correct date of birth on the basis of your birth certificate.

Consult a local lawyer on the formal procedures in this regard.
