Your creamy layer status is determined by your parents income
2) your income and your wife income is not considered to determine your creamy layer status
While applying for obc no creamy layer certificate, the income of your wife is not to be taken into account.
So in the present circumstances you are entitled for the same.
1.The income of your family is about Rs.6 lakhs
2. So, you fall in to the creamy layer category amongst OBC candidates.
Hi, if the joint income of family exceeds 6lakhs per annum, it comes under creamy layer and is not entitled for OBC certificate
Please take not of the fact that income of your wife is not considered while considering your candidature for being NCL OBC.
It is the annual income of your parents which will be considered by the authorities.

It is settled law that income of class 3 employee shall not be taken into consideration for determination of creamy layer. It is a material that your wife is also a government servant. According to the Government orders of the central and state government it is made clear that salary of class 3 and class 4 employees shall not be taken into consideration for determination of creamy layer. You are eligible and entitled to claim reservation because you are a non creamy layer OBC.
