Yes, the police can seize the car involved in the accident .. All the offences are bailable so it is adviced to join the investigation and settle the matter.. Take bail before court first and then join the investigation

Yes police can seize the car, but usually you are being called so that police may record the specifications of the car so please do not worry.

You may go ahead and cooperate in the investigation and if you think that the case is false, forged and fabricated you may challenge the FIR in the HC.

No. They have the power to seize the relevant documents of the vehicle, including your driving etc., but not the vehicle in itself.

1) police would seize the car

2) Police will get the vehicle checked by RTO Inspector, to confirm that there was no mechanical defect, if the vehicle was taken in custody after a few days, RTO inspector will also check to confirm that the machine was not tampered with during the period.

1. If the vehicle is involved in the accident then it can be seized as it becomes case property.

2. You will have to file an application in the trial court for the release of vehicle on superdari.

The police may ask yo to produce the car for verification and inspection by MV inspector for framing charges, it may not seize the vehicle if you cooperate.
