• Neighbour issues

I live in Central Goverment accomodation and own two vehichles. Since I have shifted to this accomodation I am facing issues with few neighbours on parking of my vehicle. They have a problem with one of my car and continously raise the issues with one another. These ladies go around for an after dinner walk in evening and continously laughs, chit chat in loud voices disturbing us. They also taunt on the car parking. Since I have shifted issues are coming up. Please advice.

Sir, since the parking is not reserved for any employee, you can pArk your car as per your conviniance.. If the ladies of your neighbourhood are creating nuisance, you can call police and file a complaint ..

Let them raise issue with one another, they can not do anything by raising issues amongst themselves, neither you can go to some authority since no right of yours is being violated.

Nobody can have a lien over a common parking space or on other free spaces in a government colony. Whosoever spots this particular parking vacant first, is entitled to use it. Having said that, nobody can stake an absolute claim or interest over the same.

1. Complaint to the police or to your department if these neighbours are also from the same department.

2. If nothing helps then a civil suit for permanent injunction is the only remedy.

You cannot restrict them from chatting among themselves after their dinner. That is their freedom. If they come to your house and disturb then you have an issue, but their enjoyment in the road that too during a after dinner walk cannot be objected by you, there is no provision in law. In fact your interference or any action on this would backfire and you may be put to trouble with false or any criminal case.

This disturbance may not extend more than half an hour or so, hence better adjust and live.

In fact if you have been provided with parking space for only one car in the government accommodation, it would be illegal and unfair on your part to claim rights to park another vehicle, also this will draw the sore eyes of the neighbors who may even in the name of an action on this, may try to seek vengeance on you, so better be cautious on this issue.

It is a government locality no reserved parking slots.

You must be aware that other occupants of the complex/premises are also entitled to park their vehicles. Dont invite troubles for yourself if you are on the weaker side.
