Concerned to work permit and Indian citizenship

Dear esteemed team of advocates, Marriage and Background: My wife and I were married in Dhaka in 2019 under the Hindu Marriage Act. We're so happy to have built a life together. She completed her B.Tech in India on a student visa from NIT Silchar, and we're proud of her accomplishments. Due to unforeseen circumstances(Covid lockdown), we weren't able to register our marriage in India until 2022. Current Challenges: My wife recently made the difficult decision to leave her successful IT career in Bangladesh to join me in India. We're excited to start this new chapter together, but unfortunately, obtaining a work permit for her has been a complex process. We've consulted the Ministry of Home Affairs website and visited the FRRO office in Pune, but the information seems conflicting. Some officials suggested applying for an LTV, while others mentioned a work permit on a spouse visa. We submitted applications for both, but everything is still under process. She recently received a fantastic job offer from Capgemini, but due to the delay in obtaining the necessary documents, she had to decline. This has been incredibly disheartening for both of us. Looking for Guidance: We're expecting our first child in July, and we want to ensure a smooth future for our growing family. Would our child's citizenship be impacted by my wife's current visa status? We'd be incredibly grateful for any advice on how to navigate this process efficiently. Our goal is to secure a work permit for my wife so we can both contribute to our family and pursue fulfilling careers in India.
