Hello, i have finalized 3BHK resale fully furnished flat in Begur area bangalore. Builder is doing the sale and all dealing on behalf of owner. i have paid 50K UPI to builder and 50L cheque on owner name which is yet to be drawn. We want to go ahead with sale agreement next week as all documents of land and flat are verified and okay. But builder insisting that during sale agreement owner will not be present. He will take signature from owner before we sign on different place. He will share owner signing video and video call with owner before we sign on the document. It is 80+ flats property and builder claims he has only sold most of the flats in this apartment. He is not willing to register sale agreement and only durint final sale deed registration owner will be there. After sale agreemenet is done he is okay for arranging meeting between us and owner. we have been asked to pay 12L in cheque on owner name and 7L in cash to builder directly during sale agreement. Flat value is 88L. is this type thing common? can i procced with sale agreement.
