My Advocate is lying to me.

My father sold a house to a neighbor, but there's an issue with the area mentioned in the Property Record (PR) card. To fix this, we applied to the land records office in the taluka, and they suggested filing an appeal with the district land record office through an advocate. You found one who charged five thousand rupees, notarized the required documents, and filed the appeal. Now, the advocate claims he has done his part, and it will take six months to get the order. He mentioned there will be a hearing, and if the Taluka Land Record office representatives don't show up, the decision will likely be in your favor. However, we are concerned because the advocate isn't providing a receipt, and when we asked for the appeal number to check the status, he was making excuses, saying he was out of town. He mentioned that since the other party didn't attend, the judgment will be in your favor, and the order will be sent by post. After 3-4 months he delayed by saying there was a holiday and the date was put forward when we persistently asked him to do it quickly he said the order was done and it would be sent through the post, as I'm asking him for an appeal number so that I could get a certified copy of order he is now saying that how will you know the order is done, as he said its already done on our side, now he lying that he said that it was already done. we've paid him 3500 out of 5000 rupees, and you need the corrected PR card for the new owners of the house. You're considering raising a complaint against the advocate for wasting your time and money. what we might consider any suggestion. Thank you.
