Can company force me to pay full and final settlement?

I got a job in one of the life insurance industry as Business trainee. Basically my job was Sales, selling insurance policy through Emerging bank channel. After completing 2 months in the company, I made the decision to leave the company because of constant sales pressure on me which was mentally exhausting me (I was told to sell insurance policy anyhow when I was going through the training period.) I was told by my Reporting manager that company will recover some amount from me, because of immediate resignation, but this was not confirmed by the HR team. I tried to contact my HR manager about resignation but no one from the entire HR team responded to my messages or calls. I wanted help to understand the consequences of an immediate resignation but never received anything from the HR team. So, my question is that can company legally take any actions on me if I dont pay the money. Because its just been a little over 2months since I started my job at this company so I'm worried if I have to pay such an amount. (PS: I have never signed any bond or any such documents from the company)
