Can we be legal heirs of the property that was kept on mortgage and our father paid the money

There was a property that my grandfather gave to my grandmother as a gift of marriage. After his death, his relatives lived on rent in half of the property which they later sold illegally. The expenses of that case was done by my father only but the names of his siblings are also there in it. The supreme court gave the decision in our favour but their is a stay in high court which is still pending. That case is 60+ years. The half portion which was in my grandmother's possession was given to my uncle through a gift deed. He took a mortgage lien on it. But as he died my father paid the mortgage amount single handedly after years but he added his siblings name for security in the redemption deed in the column of name of mortgagers. My uncle do not have any children. There is no one alive from my father's generation except one of his sisters, who is on her deathbed. I have an ailing mother and a naive younger brother. After my father's demise his siblings children and wives have made life difficult for us. They want a share in the property. They are giving us death threats and threat to harm our dignity and honour constantly. We tried to complain about them but the local authorities didn't lodged our complaint and said since the matter involves property it doesn't fall in their jurisdiction. They have entered our property forcefully which was in our possession since the beginning ( paid mortgage on). We complained to the local authorities but no action is taken against them. They are living on our land for more than a week now. The authorities and neighbours have joined hands with them and said to resolve the matter amongst ourselves. But they want equal share as us despite of giving no contribution in redemption or the case expenses. Do they have a share in the property or not? Can we claim the rights of the property ( released from mortgage) or not? Kindly guide.
