Water disconnected by building committee

I own a flat in south Kolkata in a G+3 (total 9 flats) building and used to stay there till Oct 2019 after which I relocated with family to UK for job transfer. The building has independent overhead water tanks separate for each flat which are cleaned every 2 years. During Jan 2020 tank cleaning, the then committee (Secretary/Treasurer/President) switched off my water connection without informing me, which I later came to know from someone else in that same building. During Jan 2022 tank cleaning, the current committee has informed me that they have kept my water supply closed because my tank overflows if connection kept open when no one stays in the flat. There is no proof or picture taken though. Worth mentioning, all tanks have interconnected pipelines so that if water fills up in one tank, it will start flowing in the adjacent tanks, so no water is wasted if any family is out of station for long. So it is difficult for me to believe the logic given by the committee of stopping in water connection.I am still in UK and have never been a defaulter in paying the flat maintenance and other dues. My question, when I return to India to stay in my flat, if the committee doesn’t start the water connection, what can I do, what legal step can I take against them ?
