Marriage Dissolution/Decree waiting period and limitations on Re-Marraige
I have been married for 5 years and have no kids. Due to personal reasons, we never were able to get along well and lead a happy family life. With time, distance between us increased and now we both are living separately in different continents for almost 3 years!
In March 2021 we both filed for a mutual consent divorce and a court petition was raised in July 2021.
We have a court hearing session schedule in January 2022 and are expecting to get a final decree. And as well no claim for alimony demanded given respect to each others decision.
Questions:
After listening to appeal made by both parties, if court grants permit for dissolution of Marriage.
a)How long does it take to receive decree - Dissolution of Marriage Certificate?
b)Rules/limitations for Re- Marrying
- any waiting period is mandatory for re-marriage after receiving Decree ?
- any other hindrances expected after Decree?
- any other important points women should beaware of?
Otherwise ...
How likely it is for Judge to put this on hold without issuing a decree?
Are there chances for Judge to ask us to stay together?
We appreciate your expert views, thanks in advance.
