Reversal of pmay subsidy

I have booked under-construction flat and taken a loan from Bajaj Finance. First disbursement was done on 28 April 2018 and i have also got the PMAY subsidy of 2.30 Lakhs. Now Bajaj Finance is saying that, as per the central nodal agency rule, construction needed to completed and possession/completion/occupancy certificate needs to be available within 36 Months i.e before 27 April 2021. However, due to covid as there are delays in construction, i will probably get the possession in June-July 2021. I have shared with them the GR by MahaRera regarding 6 months extension for giving possesion. But they are saying PMAY is scheme by NHB and there is no communication from NHB regarding extension. Due to that 36 Months window, bajaj finance is saying me that they will reverse the subsidy if they did not get the possession/completion/occupancy certificate before 27 April 2021. I am having two doubts 1. Is there such rule that the construction needs to be completed within 36 Months? 2. If point 1 is true, is there any amendment in the rule regarding extension due to COVID-19 delays (As i may loose the subsidy due to 2 months delay in possession which is probably caused due to COVID-19) Whenever i am asking to few of my friends in other banks, they are saying that there is no such rule.
