Education is becoming a business in some schools

Hello mam, I am a 11th grader who without any other choice joined a CBSE school( in AP) although I’ve completed my tenth in a Cambridge international school(VGS) in Chennai and got A*s in every subject. But adjusting to a CBSE has given a huge challenge along with much pressure and headache. We’ve been having online classes for past 7 months now and we’ve paid the tuition fees for both semesters but the principal is forcing us to pay the hostel fee(Rs.90k) which isn’t even necessary because we didn’t even use our ward for a single day. But still she was threatening us that she would stop the online classes if we don’t pay the hostel fee and she is saying that we have to pay the fees as we’ve paid some advance( Rs 5000) in the beginning of the school year(even then she was the one who nicely persuaded us saying that we can opt out of hostel if we don’t wish to stay and added that the wards are limited and may run out soon) After that, she eventually stopped my classes. And even after one week we didn’t pay the fees, so now she is stopping the classes for everyone and making it a mandatory thing for everyone to come to school. How is it fair? Isn’t that basically forcing us to come to school? According to SOP protocols, our school isn’t following a single thing(like no more than 16 students in a classroom, school should be held every alternate day, school shouldnt force students to come to school as online classes should be given first priority....)It’s still unbelievable that a central school is playing all these tricks just for some unnecessary fees! Kindly, please help us as soon as possible! I am sitting at home studying by myself even after paying the fees for the entire year. And I can’t explain how much mental torture I am going through and it really is affecting my academics. We need your support!
