Name Change related

Hi Team, Two letters missed in my surname, this was an error happened when i was studying X class, i didn't know the importance of this at that time, now i realized that i have to have my full/ correct surname in records, i may not be able to change in certificates but at-least in land records i can have full sir name Reason for change: Actual surname: venukadasula, present sur name on certificates/Aadhar/PAN: venukadasu - i gave my full surname to my sons in their birth certificates, my father and brother have full actual surname in the records, i would like to have my full surname now...after researching i got know two processes, kindly suggest which one i have to choose 1. Through Central Gazette: Prepare notarized affidavit, publish ads in local papers, and go for central gazette publication Option 2: State Gazette: 1. get police verification, 2. get MRO certificate 3. Affidavit, 4. news paper ads 5. State Gazette: this process is as per Telangana rules. Since the state Telangana process is tedious, i would like to go-ahead with the option 1 which is central gazette, please suggest me if the central gazette process is right? Can i go-ahead with option 1 ? since the Telangana process is time taking, please suggest if i go ahead with Central process would i face any legal issues?? Please let me know if any lawyer from Hyderabad can help on this process of name changing.
