Hindu Succession Act for Inherited Property

Hello Advocate Das, My grandfather died on 23rd June 2004, leaving six sons, one married daughter, and a widow. I wanted to know who all are entitled to an equal share in the ancestral property? As my grandfather died before the Hindu Succession Act amendment (2005), who all will be coparcenary of the ancestral property? Will it be divided into 8 (6sons+1daughger+1widow); or amongst 7 (6sons+1widow); or amongst 6 (just 6 sons)? If that matter is clear, it would be beneficial if you could kindly help me to scrutinize a legal letter I drafted for a partition suit. If that could be sent in your legal letterhead, it will have a much more substantial impact. I also wanted to clarify one more thing, will the division be according to the Hindu Succession Law 1956? Because I read, there were two schools of thought, Mitakshara, and Dayabhag. West Bengal used to follow the Dayabhag school of thought. Is it still so? Or now the Hindu succession act 1956 unifies the law in the whole country? Please help me reviving my share in the ancestral property. Thank you. Subhendu Whatsapp and Contact No: +[deleted]
