Is parking space allowed to ONLY car registred in name of member?

Dear Sir, Me and my uncle live in neighouring society. He has been alloted a car as perqusite from his company which is used by both family and parked in my society from convince point of view. Recently my society passed a rule that only car registered in the name of member and their family residing in the building will only be allowed to park the car in society premises. Since the car RC is in the name of uncle's company and even my uncle is residing in neighbouring society we have been charged penalty of Rs. 4500/- . I want to know that, 1. Whether society has power to restrict parking space allotment only to legal owner? 2. Can I claim myself as beneficial owner of the car and park it as I have been using it for almost a decade? 3. As per Bye law 80 of Maharashtra cooperative society Housing 'A Member having a vehicle will be eligible to have parking slot. Normally no Member shall be eligible for being allotted more than one parking slot. The vehicles may be owned by him or allotted to him by his employer, or the firm of which he is the partner or the company of which he is the director.' Does this mean that member can have vehicle is above manner ONLY or it is just illustrative list? Thanking you in advance.
