Association not allowing Property Manager for rental services

Dear Members, As i am living abroad and had issues in managing tenants, I decided to assign a property management company to take care of rental services of my independent house in a gated community in Chennai. I gave copy of bye-laws to company and they said their rental model comply with it already. I did discuss with an association member and had their verbal confirmation. 11 months tenancy contract will be signed between tenant and myself. After i signed service agreement with property management company, association is claiming this is sub-letting as per their legal opinion on this service agreement. Though i had asked them several times to provide more details for their claim, they have not provided. They also told me that property management company will not be allowed just for one owner in community. They also cited other communities had some issues with this company. They are not allowing my property manager to enter in to community. Does association has any right to disallow an owner having property manager? Please advise what are the legal options are available for me / property manager. Regards, Ramanathan.
