Devsthan land

I along with my uncle and brothers inherit some 5 acres of land which is in our joint name since my grandfather died in 2004.In the year 1978 our land was acquired by the government for GIDC,so my grand father purchased this land which now government says that it is a government land. There was Devsthan Inam act in pre independence. The seller of this land was holding this land for divabatti of one majar. In 1969 the Devsthan inam abolition act came in to existence. He was permitted to retain the land and full revenue was collected from him by the government. In 1981 we i mean my grandfather purchased this land from him as our land was acquired by the government for GIDC.In the revenue record it was shown as old tenure land and so as my grand father purchasrd it by registered sale deed it was immediately transferred in his name in 1981 itself. In 2004 my grand father died so in inheritance all his three sons and as my father had died earlier we seven brother and one sister and my mothers came on record. In 2016 we all the family members decided to divide the land and so approached the Mamlatdar concerned.Entry for the same as per my grandfather was entered but it was not certified as notice was not issued by the authorities.so we went for appeal before the Dy.collector who rejected our appeal and said that on the 7/12 it is khalsa written for this land.We went in appeal against the order of Dy.collector to collector.Collector also rejected our appeal and has ordered that this land is new tenure and so Dy.collector should try the case and declare this land to be new tenure land. After 38nyears
