Daughter claim over father-mother property

I belong to a Hindu family. My grandfather passed away in June 2002, and my grandmother in January 2019. My grandparent had 2 sons and 2 daughters. One of the daughters passed away while my grandfather was alive (though after marriage). So as of now, my grandparent has 2 sons and 1 daughter. Recently one of the daughters (my aunt) is claiming partition for her share in the property. I am of the opinion that since my grandfather passed away prior to 09/09/2005 (when the daughter was also given equal right in the property), she is ineligible for any share in the property. Also, section 6 of Hindu succession act 1956 (amended in 2005) says about sharing equal responsibility, while my grandmother was old and sick, it was the two brothers and their respective family who took care of her (food, medicine, including all nurse work when she was bedridden). Our aunt being married she just used to come once a year and never took any responsibility. So I am of the opinion that since she never took any responsibility she should not get any share in the property. I would like to know if I am correct in my opinion and what is the legal stand. Reply will be much appreciated.
