Can society take-back additional parking space allocated to a member by society.

I am resident of an apartment and while handing over the society the builder has issued parking allotment letter to each member on society letter head with sign of chairman & secretary. There were few extra parking space available after allocating one parking space to each member. So, I approached the builder to get one extra parking space. Builder suggested me to deposit cheaque of certain value to Society's account and get additional allotment letter from society. I deposited the cheque and got the additional allotment letter from Society. There are four other members who has also obtained additional parking slots in similar way. After 4 years now few members have objections to this and now asking the society to cancel this allotment and make an auction. The society's current governing body is planning to pass a new resolution which cancel this additional allotment of parking and then auction the allotted parking space to give right on yearly basis. My question is, 1. Can society pass a resolution to cancel the additional parking allotted by society's previous governing body which also issued allotment letter for the additional parking? 2. If they do it, what legal actions I can take against the society?
