How many hearings can husband unattend in a case filed on section 12(1) but lawyer attending hearing

Hi, In a DV case filed by wife under section 12(1) (Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act), I am not attending the hearing and we are not collecting the notice sent by the court. But, my lawyer is in-charge of the case and taking the hearing every time. If the court decides to send an circular to police to arrest me or impound my passport after how many unattended hearing it will happen, though my lawyer representing me. Detailed explanation: My wife has filed a dowry complaint against me in the women cell in the mid of the last year. That time, my family was called to the family court and after 5 hearings the decision was sent back to the women cell and it seems the case is not taken further, since I had number of proofs show me innocent. Now, wife filed a DV case( section 12(1) ) against all my family members. I am not attending any of the DV case hearings, but family went once to the court. My lawyer trying to quash my family members from the DV case. The third hearing is on the next month and how many hearings I can play out like this? I am worried, at some point of time the court would impound my passport. I am getting notice from court to attend the case, but lawyer advice not to collect it, so parents in home not collecting the notice. If the court decides to send an circular to police to arrest me or impound my passport when will it happen. First hearing - dec Second hearing - jan mid Third hearing - apr beginning Thanks, Arjun.
