Resignation Withdrawal

Hi, I would like to know if the below qualifies as a breach of labour law as I have learned that it potentially could be and seek for a professional lawyer to confirm if it is so. So I worked in the accounting team at an IT company, I was going through serious personal life crisis owing to which I had resigned from my job. The decision to resign was an impulsive one and I never really had any work related reason to quit. The Firm was aware of my personal problems. With a few days to go before my last day, I requested to withdraw my resignation. The withdrawal of my resignation was rejected as a replacement had been hired in my position. Now, the hiring of this replacement was a hasty one. This new person never really knew what the job was all about. She did not like the job and my replacement resigned as of my last day at the organization. The Firm withheld this information and did not tell me about the resignation of my replacement. Technically, as of my last day at the company, my resignation stood invalid because the reason I was given when I was prevented from taking back my resignation, was - headcount issue which had ceased to exist with the resignation of my replacement. There was no work related reason attached to my exit and my exit was initiated by me and not the company. I learned about my replacement quitting the job from my teammates and requested the company to be reinstate me. My reinstatement was rejected and the reason given to me was work related, which was a lie. I never had any work related issues and had just been promoted before I resigned. The manager was new and had been in the team for 6 months only. It was purely out of personal bias that the manager did not let me back into my job. My question to you is, does this qualify as a breach of law because I read somewhere that in such a scenario the principle of last out first in applies, by which, the person who last served in the job should be given preference over others. Please do let me know because if the rejection of my reinstatement was illegal per Indian labour law, I would consider pursuing a legal recourse against the company. I would be very grateful if somebody could take a look at this and let me know. Thank You.
