We have been married about 2 years ago from the thane marriage registration office Mumbai and after marriage we have came to live in Japan. But because of not good relation with each other my wife wants to get divorce with me but I really don’t want to get divorce because I have to go back to Indian and I can’t meet my son I was always trying to save our relation because we have small kid so my wife submit application to get Divorce in Mediation and the appointment date is 30/11/2018. in Japanese law we have submitted our Indian family court marriage certificates in city hall another name (ward office) where we can show our proves that we are married and after that all my spouse visa has been provided from the Japanese government to live in Japan , In this case we have to get divorce in Japanese law where we submitted our marriage certificate as a prove that we are married. after get divorce in city hall we are totally divorce in Japanese law but We are still not divorce in Indian law where we got married in thane, so we want to get divorce in Indian law as well but the problem is my wife is not able to go to India to get divorce because of having small child so I called Indian embassy to know if they can do something for this case but they told me we have to go to India to get divorce and embassy doesn’t do this services, I wanted know 1) do Indian divorce law accept my Japanese divorce? 2) can I say I don’t want to divorce in Japan because I am married by Indian law? 3) can they force me to get divorce in Japanese law? 4) is this possible to get divorce in India without my wife? Because my wife is not able to go to India and stay for long time with small kid, I mean just get the divorce application and all the documents from thane registration office and let my wife sign all the documents here in Japan and I will go to submit to India thane marriage registration office,. Is there any other ways for this case? Please let me know anything if you have some suggestions.!
