Owner insisting tenant to repair.....

I stay in Pune at a rented apartment for 2 years. I saw leakage in kitchen and the wall getting wet, I informed owner on 10th July 2018, who stays downstairs and told him it may be due to rain, but to avoid spending money, he did not inspect it through plumber or structural engineer and bargained lot of time. Now I decided to leave that apartment because of his such approach on 30th Sep after serving 1 months notice, and also did some repair work with White cement and Dr. Fixit etc worth 1200, but landlord is now saying it's not because of rain but my Bathroom leakage, Since neighbor also has same problem and our walls are adjoining , I informed landlord it may be due to their bathroom, but now LL is insisting to pay all repair cost of entire bathroom which may be huge. We had a agreement from Sep 2016 to Aug 2017 which stated that " In case of any loss and damages to premises, appropriate charge for the same will be deducted from security deposit, and Tenant will be responsible for any damage, subject to normal wear and Tear due to normal use." Now I know I did not create any damage rather informed owner as soon as I noticed the leakage. My question 1) Can owner blame tenant directly for such leakage? 2) If it's due to My bathroom, who is supposed to repair? 3) What are the rights of tenant in such case if Owner is refusing to refund entire Security deposit? Please help Thanks
