Plot Sale Deed - Cheque bounce
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchased plot in gated community from a developer by paying amount on various dates through online and cheque payments. As I did not have enough money to fulfill the 20% of advance, developer has asked me to issue post dated cheque so that the registration can be done because rest of the money is through loan which is already approved by then.
I have issued a post dated cheque (shortage amount) and the property was registered on my name on a condition that all the development works should get finished and handed over to me.
Builder could not complete the promised works on-time but insisted me to honour the cheque for which I did not accept. But later builder filed a cheque bounce case against me.
I was not intentional to trouble them but get the promised development works by builder, so I have settled the amount (DD) in the presence of judge based on the notice that I received.
Builder has sent me the receipt for the same. Here my question is that do I need to go for rectification of sale deed or endorsement from builder or lawyer affidavit would suffice the present & future problems?
Please guide me in the direction. Thanks in advance!
