Land ownership issue

Dear sir, I bought a piece of land in Kerala in 2014 and constructed a house. I purchased this land from Mr. X, and Mr. X bought this land from Mrs Y. Mrs Y is sister of Mr. Z. Now my issue is, two days before receiver has informed us not to transfer this property to anyone as it is in dispute. Reason for this dispute is Mr. Z was running a private chit and he became bankrupt in 2008, and the beneficiaries of this chit claim that this land was transferred to Z's sister before Z's bankruptcy. This entire story was unknown to us, otherwise we would have not bought this property. There are other six peoples facing same problem like me. They also bought land from Mr. X. For me, I have panchayat clearances, village office clearances, encumbrance certificates, building and land tax receipts in my name etc. I am staying there from 2015 onwards. Can you please advice on following questions.. please reply me through e-mail only ([deleted]). 1. Whether I am on a safer side? 2. Can I sell this property to anyone else. 3. can I file a counter case against Mr. X that he cheated me, and also for the punitive damages happened to my family, also seeking courts help to relieve us from this long standing issue.? 4. What are other precautions I should take to avoid court/individual proceedings on this land?
