Compound wall demolished without any prior notice

Dear Sir/Madam, I am from Kanyakumari district living outside the country. After my father's death my mother alone living in my home town. When my mother was not at home the government officials came with police protection and demolished our compound wall. My mother did not receive any notification recently, we have received a notice from local panchayat office 6 years ago and one of neighbors including us as an enemy in one of the land encroachment court cases 4 years ago. For both my parents responded saying we don't have any prompoke(government land) inside our compound wall. The court case was dismissed recently with no orders. As per the stamp papers(property document) we have 10 cents of land but the land was actually measuring 9.7 cents inside our compound wall. we have applied and got subdivision for 9.7 cents. After the compound wall demolished my mother inquired the Thasildhar's office, the response was they are using a map from 150 years ago to measuring the land. as per the old map our compound wall was encroaching prompoke land. What actions we have to take now to rebuild our compound wall? 1) Can we file a case against the government officials since they did not give any proper notice? 2) Should we us the old map to rebuild our compound wall? 3) If we build the wall using the new map and as per the subdivision how can we prevent the wall from demolition again?
