Cheque dishonoured

I purchased a flat in Mangalore in vellankanni heights in July 2014 with full consideration amount Rs.1400000/- 9Rupees fourteen Lakhs only) under construction, but i done registration and stamp duty. Possession date is December 2015 but from to till his work is dead at project site and he finding a investors for his project. Now, in January 2018 i visit my native place at mangalore and project, i saw work is dead is totally, therefore, i call up to builder and asked to i am quoting my investment with you and as perin agreement mention he decided and given PDC dated 15 april 2018 to refund total Rs.2200000/- cheque but when i deposit a cheque is dishonoured from bank for insufficient funds in account. i call up bank manager he told me so many cheques are bounced from this account due to insufficienmt funds in acocut. can tell me the sir what i can do, because my family and my husband believing me and our native manglore one property we sell that time and given a lumpsum amount to the builder now my family and husband torture me, help me i want to sucide really because i am totally micourage now and feeling guilty.help sir.
