Our landlord is bmc & i am room tenent of bmc property from 2012 at dadar. shoud i pay stamp duty

I am Pankaj R. Shah - HUF on 8th August 2012 in Mumbai Residence Room at Bamboat Chawl No.1, Room No.15, Ground Floor, Plot No.4 - A, 306 Bhavani Shankar Road, Dadar west. this is BMC Property and we made Room transfer by Documents like (1) Memorandum of Understanding (2) Indemnity Bond (3) General Power of Attorney (4) Possession Letter (5) Affidavit from Smt.Pramila Hanumant Kakade & Mr. Prabhakar Hanumant Kakade And I submit as per our landlord is BMC so I submit whatever told by BMC officer at Assistance Engineer (T.P.) Mumbai Municipal Corporation, G/ North ward office, Dadar, Mumbai - 400028 & also Paid Transfer fees Rs.10,000 by Receipt No. 015748 on 27.09.2012, Rs.10,000 of Ad. Deposit by Receipt No. 015949 on 17.11.2012 and I Paid also many different fees & Charges as per they taken by giving Receipt. Now in 2018 our Chawl is going to Redevelopment so for that now we had done Agreement with Developer and going for Registration of Agreement for Provision of Permanent Alternate Accommodation at Prabhadevi Worli -400018. At their they told I have to submit 3 document latest & 3 document before 1995. I told I transfer in Aug.2012 so I have from Aug.2012 to June 2018 (1) Rent Receipt (2) Electric Bill (3) Ration card & Bank AC of above property. But before 1995 I have not anything in my name. So they told then you have to stamp duty on it. So My Question is should I pay to stamp duty or no need? Please Reply me on my Email I.D. [deleted]
