Mental harassment at workplace

Dear Sir/Madam, I'm Satyadeep Chatterjee and I'm working as a faculty in an Institute of National Importance - Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI). Recently, one of the student withdrew from her course stating that she was unable to cope up. We later learnt that she had sought a different course in a different university. In the meantime her father had suited a complaint in the PMO plea is to refund the semester fees in context to misleading information provided by certain staffs of our college at the time of taking admission and misconduct and biased outlook by some faculties, which is absolutely fake and framed. His ward never turned up to discuss her problems of coping up with the course in her department neither she ever applied for change of course. Rather she was an average performing student and below benchmark attendance for which her father is blaming the college and trying to provide it a shape of biased decision of the faculties which is not true. Now, recently her father had put his complaint to the office of our hon'ble commerce minister - Mr. Suresh Prabhu, asking for justice. The letter was forwarded to the office of our Managing Director. He formed a special committee in order to investigate the matter. The committee calls for a meeting and asks the alleged faculties (02 of them, one me and another female faculty) to adjoin the meeting for discussion. With the pretext of discussion, they started interrogating us with no whatsoever reason with a series of offending and irrelevant questions. We're bound to reply them as per the orders received by the MD. Later, they also interrogated another female faculty from our department whose name was not mentioned in the complaint filed by the father of student. They also taken a feedback of the students about us without a permission of the Head of the Department. Now, when we're asking them to provide us the copy of the complaint received, just for the sake of our information so that we can cross verify certain irrelevant points raised at the time of interrogation, the committee members are refusing to provide us the same. We're very anxious about the report to be put up by the committee as it can also affect our job. Moreover, we think its entirely wrong and unjustified for hiding information from us as we are also employees in the same organisation and we've the right to know about the allegations against us. But they are treating us like culprits on the basis of baseless complaints by some outsider. Do we have a provision under the Indian Law for taking a rightful action against such harassment?
